Steve Gustafson
With his background as both an architect and a general contractor, Steve Gustafson brings both a sense of artistry and business practicality to his role as President and founder of the Nautilus companies. After selling his share of Valentine Construction Company, a firm with ten branch construction offices and 300 employees in Arizona, California, Colorado and Nevada, Steve founded Nautilus General Contractors in 2003. Several years later, Steve was inspired to form Nautilus Custom Builders in a desire to create exquisite residences that truly reflect the lives of the people who live in them. He received his MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. In his down time, Steve enjoys sailing, skiing and spending time with his wife and three children.

Mark O’Connell
Mark brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry to Nautilus Custom Builders. He has honed his considerable project management skills on custom estate projects in the $3 to $15 million range and up to 15,000 square feet in size. Even though Mark has managed close to $90 million worth of projects, he still finds the time to meet with his customers on a one-on-one basis. In his spare time, Mark spends time with his family, surfs, sails and plays hockey.

Alexis Julicher
Alexis Julicher is the Director of Business Development for Nautilus Custom Builders. Over the past four years, she has catered to and partnered with a diverse base of clients. Her professionalism and understanding of client satisfaction helps Nautilus Custom Builders consistently receive positive referrals from our projects. Alexis enjoys traveling, ballet, equine activities and tennis.
